I have a question. I'm not sure if I'm being a brat. But my FSIL told me a Saturday that her Grandma has a dress for the wedding. She found it in her closet and it's BLACK! I don't want his Grandma wearing Black to the wedding. It's like death. Should I say something or just leave it alone bc it's not that bad? My FH wants to say something to his mom about it.

Re: Grandma's dress.
you should say something... if you fell that way express it but let your FH do it. That is his family.

Re: Grandma's dress.
both of FH's grandmothers are wearing black - I'm not thrilled about it but they are in their 80's - I don't feel that i have the right to tell them what to wear.

He wants to do it but also feels weird bc it wasn't mentioned to him about his Grandma's dress. He heard from me and I heard from his sister. And also, his mom is going to think I'm complaining about it and i'm making my FH say something.

Re: Grandma's dress.
I don't think black is a bad color. Especially b/c it makes people look nice and slim in photos. If it bothers you that much I would say something but sometimes you have to pick and choose the battles that you want to win. Good luck.
