GRANDPARENTS...

My wedding is June 30 and im in the process of trying to organize all the detils since i have to hand in my song/announcement list to the band ASAP. Well, heres my question. Do most people have the grandparents walk down the isle and do they get announced with the bridal party as we all enter the reception room? To answer any forthcoming questions...there is only one set between my FI and myself so we're not talking 4 couples...no, they werent in any way involved in the planning but will be flying up from Florida for the wedding..and its not in a church, its at the reception hall. What does everyone think? -Stacey 6-30-01

GRANDPARENTS...

I still have both sets of grandparents (knock wood!), and they all walked down the aisle for my wedding. They had been waiting a looong time for that honor...lol. I would discuss it with them and see what they feel comfortable doing.

GRANDPARENTS...

Hi Stacey - I just got the same date, June 30th (see post - so you think you've got stress) Anyway, I am asking my grandparents to be announced first at the reception, then his father, then my parents, etc. For the church, I'm having my mom and his dad walk down first to 'Sunrise, Sunset' and then have the bridal party walk down to Trumpet Voluntary or one of those type instrumentals. I know June 30th will be a beautiful day!

GRANDPARENTS...speaking of

My grandmother is my only living grandparent. I would like to do something special for her...but I don't have any ideas yet. I am already dedicating my bouquet to my mom, so that's out. Any ideas/suggestions? Thanks!
