Great Favor Idea

I just saw the featured favor picture on Martha Stewart's wedding page. It's a great idea for summer brides getting married in a country setting. They are jars of Almond Honey with pretty fabric. Martha's description below:

The Romans showered newlyweds with almonds, an ancient symbol of fertility. Include them in your celebration by giving guests favors of jars filled with almonds and honey. Decorate the caps with squares of fabric in a playful pattern (we used stripes, pink linen, and florals), and secure with twine. Line up the jars on a tablecloth made from matching fabric, and label them with your first initials and the wedding date.

Great Favor Idea

Isn't she? I love them too. I love the rose petal cones she has on her site. So easy and she uses practical everyday things to make things. I saw her yesterday coloring easter eggs with beet juice, hot strong coffee, boiled onion skins - made them green. The colors were beautiful. She had two young girls on the show and I though it was good to show them how to use what's around the house.
