Georgia: Give your FH this link, it's a BARBRI remix and it's hysterical. It's definitely going to make him laugh

Re: Greek Brides??
Georgia: I'm glad your FH is holding up.Fh and I rented a movie yesterday so I could get my mind off studying too. I think it's good to take a little time out and 'get away' from all of this. You really need it to keep your sanity.
Good Luck to your FH and to you

Re: Greek Brides??
Marcella, that remix is so funny
but it might bring back my bar exam nightmares .... Don't worry about the exam. Like Georgia said, you put in the time and you are prepared even if you don't think you are.
We are definitely going out for drinks after the exam -- you deserve to get sloshed! Georgia, good luck to your FH also.
Olga, I booked my florist. I ended up booking with a place in Brooklyn. They are my mom's koubara's stepson's parents-in-law (got that????
) We met with them a couple of weeks ago and I liked their work a lot and they knew exactly what I wanted. I went by one day and saw a bou-q they had prepared for another wedding - it was exactly what I wanted.
We are going to rent the candelabras from the hall so sometime soon I have to arrange it for him to see one.Angela, those pj's are adorable!
Olga, I know the CPA exam is hard, but Stern is a great school and you are a smart girl so have faith!! and Good Luck!
By the way, I think I mentioned that I am christening my koubara's baby in November and we saw on the net that hall in Astoria. Well, on Friday, we went by there to check it out. It's a pretty nice place. It's on the first floor of a brand new apartment building (it's easy to miss becasue they have not put a canopy out yet). The prices for dinner range from about $50 to $90 (plus tax and tip). I dont think I would have a wedding there but I would recommend checking it out for a shower or engagement party. She told me that showers (with the works) range from $30 to $40 per person. I have not tasted the food, but it is worth checking out just out of curiousity.

Re: Greek Brides??
Hey - has anyone had a wedding when there was one preceding yours. Another couple booked before our wedding - at 1:30 and ours is at 3:00. Do you guys think this will be a problem. FI is majorly stressing it - saying that he doesn't want to walk out onto other people's rice outside or have to wait if they are late. Any suggestions?

Re: Greek Brides??
There was a christening before our wedding. They did run a bit late but only a few minutes. I had to circle around the block a few times so no one would see me. I would ask the church office what they do about the flowers & rice thrown outside. I assume they would clean it up.....hopefully.

Girls, I just have to share this.I've been out on the east end of Long Island all summer and today I drove to Bayside. I knew I was in Greek Territory when I saw these two personalized license plates within minutes of eachother:
SKATULA
PALAVI
They made my day!

Re: Greek Brides??
I went to Cavo last night. I had not been there in a long time. I think that place changes every time I go. They have made the old outside into an inside and they made a new outside. I love their Sangrias!Has anyone booked Limos? Any recommendations?
