Re: Greek Brides??
FH is extremely involved - I am not really complaining, especially since I am so busy with school and work - him giving a hand and wanting to be a part of the decisions is definitely refreshing. THe only thing that is tough is when he dead set against something that i have my mind made up about. So far things have been smooth though. Registering is going to be tough - FH and I definitely have different tastes - well just have to find a happy medium!

I don't know if any allow a string quartet - ask the church.I'm in the choir at church so the girls will be singing for me

Re: Greek Brides??
I think i want strings and a flute - i've been playing teh flute since i was very young- so that is where i got that from. I definitely have to ask if the church allows us to bring in musicians.

Hi Angela!! You have FM
P.S. To all our fellow Greek brides, Angela and I are playing matchmakers, that's the reason for all the FM's. Didn't mean to clog the thread!! Cross your fingers that it works out!!

Re: Greek Brides??
That's great! Keep us updated on the proksenio!!!!!I think I found my dress!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I keep going to Macy's to try it on. Marcella, I took your advice and checked out other places... Macy's ended up matching their prices (well they gave me a discount and a credit towards my headpiece, so it worked out to the same)!!!

Re: Greek Brides??
Thanks Demetra!!!!
There is a short train in the back (probbly about a foot or so long)... originally, I was going to extend it so it could be longer, but the last time I tried it on, I changed my mind. One of the Macy's girls suggested that I wear a cathedral length veil with rhinestones and pearls... it looked amazing (ftou ftou ftou
)! The second I saw myself with it, I changed my mind about extending the train.Edited to say: Demetra (sorry!!)
