i need to help a friend looking for small greek icons to give for her sonds christening. She will wrap them herself but she needs to find the icon for a cheaper price than what is out there in the stores (especially in Astoria and Bayside) Do you ladies know where I can go on the internet with them? Thanks so much in advance!

Re: Greek gifts...help please!
Hi Noreen.... Tell her to call the church and speak to someone in the office, they might know of a wholesale dealer or something. I know a lot of people do that as a favor for a christening. If not I guess do a search for greek icons on line. There have to be wholesale places around.

She wanted to do small greek icons but the favor place on northern right there wanted to charge er like 14 a pop with wrapping and thats crazy! Ill tell her to call the church. Thanks so much!

I don't know of a place on line. But did she try the one on Bell Blvd? It's on Bell south of Northern Blvd. I don't know the address. But it's right next door to the Greek Rest called Laterna. I went to the place across the street from St. Nick's to look at favors for our e-party and the lady there was so nasty to me that I walked out
Edited to say: that I think that Icons are generally expensive, can she maybe give something else? Or does she have to give Icons? I went to Tri County mall a few months ago and they had the cutest favors for Christenings and they weren't that expensive.
