Greetings from San Francisco - but I miss FI :(

Hey Ladies,

I'm here in San Francisco all week at a Tax Conference

This is the longest I've been away from FI, and I'm started to really miss him!!! I'm not headed home until Saturday morning.

Meanwhile I just found out that the bosses want me back here next year - 2 days after we return from our HM

Anyway, just wanted to check in!!

Sorry you miss your FI!!! I know how you feel. My FI and I were apart for a week in May and I was sad too! When you go home you will be so happy you won't even think about how you feel right now and I am sure he is thinking about you too and feeling the same way! Hang in there!

Hi Lisa -

Thanks so much for the offer. SF seems like a great town!! A couple of the other managers and I spent Sunday just exploring and doing the touristy things. I wish I had more time to explore. We're in classes all day and at night we have client dinners and the such. I'm flying home Friday night on the red-eye so FI and I have the whole weekend together.

Karen, I feel for you. It is so hard to be apart. Before DH and I got married he was gone for 3 MONTHS!!! And I only got to see him one weekend, the whole time he was gone.

I missed him so much. But now we're married and he's home

just like you'll be home with your honney soon.

oh boy, is this a subject I know about!! I agree with
michelle, karen. My FI and I had a long distance relationship for 9 months, in which 3 of those months we were engaged! So seeing each other every 4 weeks was awful! But, when you do get home, it will be wonderful!! Trust me!! The saying absence makes the heart grow fonder is sooo true! So hang in there sweetie, you will be together soo enough! Oh and SF? PLease go see the seals for me..that was my favorite part of SF!! I could watch them for hours!
