Re: Groom needs some advice
Have the flowers and card given to her by a groomsman or her mom.. thats my idea... get her her fav flowers... I know I would rather lillies than roses... Im not a rose fan... for wedding night... if you are staying at a hotel, have champagne and rose petals or something like that... maybe some candles.. romantic but not too overboard...

Re: Groom needs some advice
A letter, definitely a letter a nice, juicy long letter & really think about the reasons you love her, what you hope for your future together & how you feel about her~ things like that
I think the 3 doz roses with it, that someone mentioned above, would be soooooo romantic! If she's more into jewelry, maybe a beautiful keepsake-type thing. Like, a pair of diamond earrings or a bracelet. (but, I still the the letter & roses would be the most romantic!)

Re: Groom needs some advice
we're fiscally tapped becuase of the wedding... if you want to go a bit more budget-friendly.....
of course the note or card... she'll cherish that And for the night, ask the florist to slip the bestman (who will then pass it to you) a bag of red rose petals.... and then slyly scatter them throughout the bedroom.... Also get a really nice bottle of chilled champagne, and some chocolate covered strawberries... have them delivered to your room she'll remember that forever!

I agree with the other ladies -- definately a heartfelt note. I wouldnt do flowers though -- she's going to have tons of flowers around that day and they'll die within a week. Get her something she can keep forever. Maybe a beautiful embroidered handkerchief with her new initials??
OR if you want to go a little more pricey you could get her a Lenox figurine of a bride and groom or something along those lines.

Re: Groom needs some advice
At our rehearsal dinner we bought everyone gifts. Just a little something for everyone. The last box was for me. I couldn't figure out what it was for. DH handed it to me with a card. The card was beautiful. It was all about how he never loved someone as much as he loved me. In the box was a white gold and diamond heart necklace.
Truth: I loved the card more than necklace. (I love them both but what was in that card really put tears in my eyes.)

Re: Groom needs some advice
This is the sweetest post I've read in a while! I think a beautiful note/or poem would be so memorable. If you can get jewelry that's nice also. Maybe a tennis bracelet, if it's in your budget...or studs. Can't go wrong with diamonds! As for the night, you can definitely use candles and maybe if you want, buy her a lingerie set you'd like her to wear, place it on the bed, lined with some petals. You also need some champagne...but I'm sure whatever you do, FW will love, after all, you're spending the rest of your lives together! Good luck, and congratulations!

Re: Groom needs some advice
Congratulations! My husband and I exchanged letters the morning of our wedding..... No gifts.... But if you do want to give her a gift....I'd say that a pair of pearl earrings with a tiny bit of dangle woudl be a wonderful gift

Re: Groom needs some advice
Good to see another groom around here!
Whenever I've asked for advice from brides on this topic the one that always won out over everything else was the letter beforehand. It is by far the cheapest, but is the most treasured from what I've heard.
Good luck!

awww this is the cutest post!!! you are a sweet FH... I think the same thing a special note as some of the other ladies would be perfect for the the morning of the wedding... maybe a couple of white roses to go with the note if you wanted to.... but if not the love note would be perfect....
the night of the wedding - if you decorated the room with rose petals and some tea light candles... would be perfect!
good luck & she will love the thought behind whatever you decide!
