Groom's Cakes in Suffolk County
Hi, I am looking for a creative baker who can make me a groom's cake in the shape of a Guitar. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks so much.

Here's who I used for my delicious groom's cake...
Micheline Cummings, Madame Butterfly Cakes. She used to have some photos posted, but I can't pull up her site. Here's her e-mail and telephone number: [email protected] (631)321-6770 VERY reasonable and yummy! Hubby loves to fish so, my cake was a bride & groom (us!) in a canoe. She had fish *leaping* out of the 'water' on the side of the cake... So cute!! It was a huge hit! :)

Audrey's bakery in Sayville is a really great bakery! You should try there.

Rolling Pin Bakery in Setauket
They made my cake. They didn't do a shape but they did a round cake and I gave them a picture and they did the logo in icing -- did a really good job. Rolling Pin is by Sweezy's in Setauket. The cake was a Bailey's Truffle like cake. Very yummy.

What does a grooms cake cost? What about a wedding cake if you wanted to have one specially made?

Groom`s Cake - Why do I need one?
I feel like I have never seen a groom`s cake before. Maybe I am not paying attention, but what is the deal with the groom`s cake? Sorry if that sounds too Jerry Seinfeld, but I am really at a loss! Becky

I know it is a Southern Tradition...not very popular up here
I am from the South and know it is a southern tradition. For others they just like the idea. I am still debating on having one myself. Our reception site doesn't allow us to bring in cakes or food from the outside so if we do get one it has to come from the hall.

I'm am going to use the grooms cake for the rehearsal dinner
Wanted my guy to have something different. I haven't decided on what - probably something to do with golf. I got that idea from other girls here. For our wedding though - I'm just going to have the wedding cake.Welcome New Vendors
