Okay, my FH wants to wear all white-to be different from all other grooms who usually wear black and white shirts etc. He thinks it will look great, I think for pictures it will be to much white...but I want him to be happy with what he wears-I don't want to be a dictator, what do you all think?

I don't like it either. A groom in a black tux is just so classic and elegant to me.

What are the GMs wearing? color.
What are the BMs wearing? color.
We went with tails for the DH to be different. eveing in June. His cousin went with white dinner jacket with a black collar it looked nice, but im not a fan of it.
This guy however, looks like his going to do a little dance any minute now:
I think it depends on the type of tux & accessories you go with too.

Re: GROOM Wearging All White, what do you think?
I LOVE it. My husband wore all white.
I think I am the first bride who has done this in years. The guys at the tuxedo place knew who we were right away and referred to us as the 'white tux man'
I wanted my husband to also be the center of attention since it is our day and not look like all the groomsmen. My opinion the groom never stands out in black.
I thought I wouldn't like it either but my brother just wore all white for his wedding and he looked great! The other GM worse black tuxes but the RB matched him.

She asked for our opinions, which is why we're giving them to her. I'm not sure what it not being our wedding has to do with that?

Before I saw the pics posted I would have said eh, but I think it looks pretty sharp.
Go to the tux store and see how he looks when he tries them on.

I think some men can carry it off, but not all. I wouldn't worry about too much white for the pics, but I would go with him and see how it looks on him.

My brother wore a white dinner jacket at his wedding. I'm not a fan of all white.

Re: GROOM Wearging All White, what do you think?
I have to tell you it adds much extra stress...that material in most white tuxes believe it or not is not scotchgarded. Most B&G during their pics, will do a close chot with the bride leaning on his shoulder...this will stain the jacket & then will be there all night. Also, whenever anyone goes to kiss the groom, their makeup will also rub off. I am letting you know this from personal experience...no matter how careful the groom is to not get their tux dirty, it is very hard.

Re: GROOM Wearging All White, what do you think?
I think it's fine! It all depends on whether or not he looks good in white. My friend's husband wore white at their wedding last year and he looked great. The only *slight* problem in their case was that HER GOWN was IVORY. Just watch out with that.
I personally don't care for the white look for the groom, but if you decide to go with it, maybe break up the white by having his vest and tie be a different color?

They do make ivory tux's, I wonder how come she didn't have her husband in ivory?
