Okay, my FH wants to wear all white-to be different from all other grooms who usually wear black and white shirts etc. He thinks it will look great, I think for pictures it will be to much white...but I want him to be happy with what he wears-I don't want to be a dictator, what do you all think?

Personally, I don't care for it either...but if he's the type of guy that can pull it off and you can see past it than go for it.

I have seen pictures from a wedding that did white and I don't like it. The pictures had too much white. I like the contrast of the bride in white and the groom in black.

Wow, such diffent tastes, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL THE ACTUAL PICTURES!! That helps a lot!! I agree, some people can carry it off and others can't.....I think guys do look very sharp in all white, if it's a nice clean modern style, not the tux with the tails and top hat, type look, which I do not want to have at all. This is going to be very tough. I was also pointing out to my FH that he will have to be worrying all day about getting dirty, I didn't even think about the actual white of my dress compared to the white of the tux, ANOTHER thing to worry about!! uuughhh......

That is so funny, 50 cent and Dion Sanders....I'm trying to express that to my FH, not to look like some PIMPED OUT Flashy dude, but I do think it looks great on a lot of men - IF it's DONE RIGHT!!

You should be lucky your FH wants to wear all white... mine wants to wear the tuxes they wore in the movie Dumb & Dumber!
Needless to say, he's not getting his way! White was the next choice on his list... I'll have to see how it looks on him, but I personally like that black tux and the way it contrats with white (in my case as my dress is white) in pictures.

Yes, I think it particuarly looks good on taller men, with a thin to medium build & medium to dark skin ( like the model in the first picture I posted)
ETA; NOT double breasted! I think, in white, that adds to the pimpmed out or mob look.

They also ( in soem places) have grey tuxes, or you could do a morning suit if you want to be different.

not to offend anyone, but i think white tux's look great on like..guido guys with the gelled hair, tans, shiny glasses and all that..like that couple that was on that reality mtv show with the different couples planning their wedding. he was screaming at the limo driver hahaha..otherwise, if your fh is very 'white' (skintone) i don't think a white suit would work.

I saw that show, it was on MTV I think, yeah he was total Guido.....But then you have like Puffy who gets custom all white suits and it looks very classy and modern, Puffy I have to say knows how to rock a tailored suit. Thats my opinion.

It has a lot to it because it is for them to decide. I told her my opinion and then I stated its not our wedding because in the end they have to make the decision, not ours. So that is that. I didn't say anything about anyone else.

my husband wanted to wear all white - but he doesn' have the look for it - i think his shoulders are too wide and it would have looked funny......the guy at the tux shop agreed with me. poor tom....
