HOw many of you girls are getting a grooms cake? Do you know what you want it to look like? If I can get one for real cheap I wlll do it. Not sure on the design. Maybe the starship Enterprise since FH is a huge fan of Star Trek.
I just ordered mine. So super excited to surprise FH. Going with a Mets Cake. Goes with my Met/Yankee cake topper. Think these 2 things are what im most excited about...lol
I'd really like to do this if it's not too expensive. I want to do either something Jets or xbox. Mara posted an awesome cake with a helmet and the Mets shirt, but it was a little expensive for both, I think.
I was thinking of doing a groom's cake also. I have to really think of what I want to do for him.

I would like to get one for the RH, but like the other girls said, it has to be reasonably priced!

I'd like to do a baseball-themed one (to give to FH at our rehearsal dinner) but we'll see how much it's going to cost.
im gonna get one for the RD, thinking about having a record player, just like the one i got him, and have the record be Iron Maiden, Metallica or Thin Lizzy
What do groom cakes usually run? I love the thought but know nothing about them.

I am doing a Mets and Eagles one. Definitely get quotes from different people because the quotes vary ALOT.
I never heard about this until FH's mom actually mentioned it a while ago. But it's custom that the wife gets it for him? I wasn't sure. Either way, I have no idea what it would be for him just yet.

I want one, and do it for RD, since we are already having two cakes at the Reception (regular and Jamaican Rum cake). Probabaly will do either a bowling theme or Yankee cake.
