So as most of you girls know, i'm having a Star Wars themed wedding. Nothing CRAZY like Leia buns for the BMs or costumes....but little accents here and there.
So my FH and I were talking cakes and we plan to have the big beautiful white one....and then his grooms cake. He wants a Jar Jar Binks cake....i'm not going to say no because I know how much he wants it and I do think it would be funny....but the character is just SO UGLY!!! I found one picture of a jar jar cake and it was horrible! I seriously bringing it to my baker and being like 'I do NOT want it to look like this'...
I don't know how it should be designed so it doesnt look stupid.....
oh yeah that is pretty ugly, doesn't look appetizing at all.. hmm the character itself isn't pretty so i would see what your baker comes up with and if all else fails maybe ur FH will compromise on a star wars themed cake..

I get why he likes the character....my FH is totally a joker...and he wants the cake to say something along the lines of 'Mesa Likes Weddings' and if you know the movies you know what 'Mesa' is lol. Its a funnny idea, and i have no problem with it....but its such an ugly character!!! lol

OMG funny but I thought al hard core Star Wars fans hate Jar Jar Binks!! At least my FH wouldn't have it anywhere near him There MUST be a better designed cake... I say take it to a baker and ask them their ideas haha!!!

That cake is terrifying! I bet your guests will appreciate a jar jar cake though! It's a personal touch and just silly enough to get a giggle from some of them.

Now.....I agree with the girl who said true star wars fans HATE Jar jar....and I do hate him. But my FH has a point that he's stupid and histerical....so i'll be like OK....but i NEED to do something about this cake LOL.
I also saw the frisby and i'm thinking about doing something with it....so much to discuss with my baker
