Okay - so since no one has heard of my grooms' cake vendor....can anyone help me find one that has good referrals???
I want to make a cake kinda like the one in the pic below...but with a Steelers Jersey, replacing the towel with a Terrible towel, adding a Nets basketball as a head and a Yankee hat...
HELP!!!
I heard from Mona and the cake that i'm interested in will be around $300.00
Im looking for one myself but if I find one you will be the first one I tell!!!

Yes please let us know what you find. I want to do something similar with a Met's cap or Shea stadium something sports related.
I've heard prices in the 200-300 range which is more than what I want to spend.
Other than that, my idea was to go to BJ's or someplace like that. I did a picture cake for my sisters bridal shower that wasn't too expensive. It came out really good and was sooooo yummy. It was somewhere around $50.
I think they can do other types of cakes as well.

Does the place you're getting your cake from make them?
BTW, I love the cake in the pic!

Re: Grooms Cake Help
I found that pic on a website and the price was crazy/insane...(more than 500)
I have been speaking to someone about it and she said she could do it for around 150-200 - but she hasn't gotten back to me in almost a month...so i'm trying to find someone else..

Maybe you can tell them you have friends that want cakes done as long as they drop the price
