Okay - so since no one has heard of my grooms' cake vendor....can anyone help me find one that has good referrals???
I want to make a cake kinda like the one in the pic below...but with a Steelers Jersey, replacing the towel with a Terrible towel, adding a Nets basketball as a head and a Yankee hat...
HELP!!!
I heard from Mona and the cake that i'm interested in will be around $300.00

Hi! 06er here, but wanted to let you know that I used Audrey's Bakery (LIW vendor) for my groom's cake. Tom was great to work with and I did everything over email and it was so easy. You can email him that picture and get a quote. Here's a pic of mine...it was $150 and served 50 people I think (I later paid $180 because I wanted a special filling - red velvet with cream cheese). HTH - lots of 06ers used them and had a good experience.

The beautiful & amazing price from Audrey's Bakery was $150-170!!!!!!
His email back to me was sooooooo personable and lovely - i'm sooooo going to go with him!!!!

It's typically a cake you do for your groom that's some kind of novelty cake. Some people do it at the rehearsal so it's smaller & can be funkier.
It originated a long time ago...and i guess it's making a comeback...
