anyone get their grooms cake from blackforest? if so can I see a pic!

Blackforest wasn't extremely helpful with my wedding cake. I wanted a snow globe on top and they said it was impossible. I was willing to pay for it, but they weren't willing to even entertain the idea... If you want something out of the ordinary for a grooms cake, maybe they aren't the place to go.

I don't have any experience with their specialty cakes. Just dealt with them for our cake which we get with our reception hall package. I do agree, they didn't seem to crazy about doing anything out of the ordinary.
ALTHOUGH, the female baker was on Four Weddings and she claimed to not like anything to ordinary. So it is worth a shot. Especially if your hall does their cakes through them.

They make great pastries and cakes, I love this place... but I am not familiar with their ability to make specialty cakes
