Grrr....LONG VENT

I am SOOO flipping mad right now...Some of you may remember that I had planned on asking my friends to be in my bridal party by mailing them cookies I had made up with their initials on them...well about three weeks ago a casual friend who is also getting married around the same time as me asked if I had decided on a bridal party (this was after she just finished telling me that she already asked her girls)... I told her my idea with the cookies and that I was waiting for them.
I just got off the phone with one of my friends who I plan on asking and whom this girl is also friends with and she proceeds to tell me what she just got in the mail from her....A COOKIE ASKING HER TO BE IN HER BRIDAL PARTY
She sent cookies to two of the girls that I want to ask -one of them being my cousin...I swear I could rip this girls head off...I get its my own fault for opening my mouth and telling her my idea but if you liked it so much at least have the decency to call me and ask when I would be sending mine out so you could do yours AFTER me...I'm so upset right now...I keep hearing her voice saying 'Oh I wish I would have thought of something like that' when I told her...what a *****

OMG! I think I'd be hunting her down right now!

ETA: It's not your fault for opening your mouth! Who would have thought someone would do such a thing! Horrible!

unfortunatley I learned early on in my wedding planning to keep my mouth shut

I told my BF that I wanted to get married 11/05/05- since she was going to book something in September

well - to sum it she calls me a week later and tells me she booked 11/05/05- just like that- as if I never mentioned it

needless to say I am getting married 12/10/05

and I never told her another detail

sad huh?

Take a deep breath!!! Maybe you can do 'dress' cards instead. Or an actual dress, like from Barbie and have their names put on the dresses with some glitter glue. I can't think of anything else right now. HTH!!!

Omg, that's terrible!!! I'm so sorry she stole your idea!! Try to take it as something flattering tho!! Now you've learned a lesson, sad to say you now know not to share any of your ideas with this girl. How rude!!

I got the cookies last week and had to order the mailing boxes which came Saturday...so I was in the process of wrapping them and getting them ready to mail out to each of the girls this week...I plan on making sure that I say she stole my idea once the girls get mine in the mail and mention that they got one from the royal Biotch as well...the only difficult part is making sure my fists stay firmly planted to my sides when I see her next...

That is beyond rude...

My whole wedding will top hers - her wedding will be AND I CAN SAY THIS BECAUSE I AM 100% ITALIANO will be a very cookie cutter type guiena wedding...you name anything related to an italian wedding they will have it ten fold...at least I have the mind to think outside the box
