Can my puppy come too? Sometimes he sits on my lap while I'm on my computer. He's kindof involved with this website too! I just have to teach him how to type. j/k Seriously though, I agree with what most of the other posters said. I don't think that nonposters should be included in the prizes. If they really want to come, I don't have a huge problem with that. I just don't want it to be so many people that people that do post regularly start getting turned away because of lack of space. COuld that happen? Now, that wouldn't be fair.

At this point I think we can all agree to disagree and have Liweddings come up with a decision based on our opinions. There are over 100!! brides going (man, that's ALOT) so we are bound to bump heads. Let's see what happens..........

Frankly I'm offended b/c I see that the 'mom' thing is directed towards me, since I'm the only one bringing her along. I really didn't see the big deal with this, I had asked LIweddings and they said OK. I can't believe everyone is being so harsh. I would rather not go if people are going to be so petty. There are already over 100 people going so I don't see the big deal about 1 more person. My mom hears plenty about this board and how much I love it.
In regards to those that want to attend but don't post, I would be wary b/c maybe they just want to go b/c of the prizes. I like Curlys idea in respect to that.

No offense meant Billy's Bride, I just thought it odd that you planned to get a ride with me, then said your mom is taking you because you had no way to get there. I am sure your mom is great and alot of fun. No offense meant, just thought it was jusr for us girls but no big deal. I am sure she'll be fun

I agree with Curly-- they should be allowed but not in the raffles. I mean if they don't communicate with others via the boards why would they want to communicate in person. It is not like the gtg is going to be an expo with vendors or anything- it is just a bunch of people who communicate on a daily basis to finally meet each. JMO

Getting a ride from my mom is more convenient for me than planning to meet up with anyone for a ride and I don't have to inconvenience anyone and I could be on my own schedule. I appreciated the offer though
I just want to have a good time at the GTG and put faces to all the people that have given me ideas and advice on wedding planning. This is the only site I frequent and I just love it. I can't wait to see you all there.

I say bring your momma, your dog, your cat, heck bring your neighbor if they want BUT don't drink the arbor mist or steal Shamma's donuts. Really ladies, it's no big deal who comes. You REALLY won't have time to talk to EVERYONE so who cares!!! Watch, you'll see poeple will seperate and migrate into groups, it happened before

I hope I can give my opinion as you know I helped planned the last GTG but cannot make this one, and I wish I could!! I just think that it is weird that someone who NEVER posts would want to attend after all, the people who are going want to meet the ladies they talk to everyday!! and get help not just on wedding planning, but who they should use to install mirrors in their home(thanks Susan!) and what DR's to use and who pray for our families and friends when needed......
I think people want to come to win Prizes! why else would they want to come and meet people they never associate with??! sorry for butting in but I made so many good friends on here..... its okay, isnt it Shamma ??? and Jenn LOL?

What we have thought all along has never changed. This is a GTG for LIWeddings.com and NYCityWeddings.com brides and newlyweds (and us of course)!

I mean, anyone should be able to go but I thought the point was to meet your friends, oh well, whatever is decided is decided lol- I am sure most are going JUST to win things.......
