ME!

Hi Girls!

Well, was I surprised or WHAT! This Saturday I was supposed to go to an Italian-American Police Society function, but instead I walked into my favorite catering hall in Jersey and had ANOTHER SHOWER!

When I walked in, we kind of surprised them – but I had no idea what was going on. All I could see was SFP0214 (trish)’s husband standing in the corner and I just locked eyes with him and said “What is Stephen doing here?” Then I saw my Dad and started to cry and Frank was just pushing me!

It was totally different from my “home shower”…It was “tea” themed and they did everything from the candle basket to the marriage “poem” with all the household stuff. I got a laundry line with aprons, Frank got tons of gift cards and presents, and we had about 80 guests! They played bingo and the food was terrific! My mother-in-law to be did a great job.

Our condo is seriously overflowing with presents and it was such a great time. I got the Ionic air purifier, all my dishes, lots of kitchen stuff and tons of towels. And although I didn’t know ALL of the guests, it was a great way to meet a lot of women who will be at my wedding!

Yes, this was my FMIL's shower. It was so nice....

I still can't believe it!

You are one lucky lady - my FMIL told the people on her guest list not to come to my shower!

That isn't nice! I feel bad for you!

My FMIL knew that her guests weren't going to want to come to LI for my 'home' shower, so she decided to have one in Jersey for her guests.

was that at the brownstone?? i've never been there, but my friend was in a wedding there a few months ago and i recognize it from pics.... looks beautiful!!

Yes - we love the brownstone. It's mostly just for weddings and the room we were in was a wedding room. We've been at a few weddings there. The food is delish too!

I feel very blessed!
