Re: Guest book
We did one- it was a waste. We wanted it set up so that guests could put their photobooth pics in there and sign, but nobody did. lol! We got like one picture and 5 signatures.

Re: Guest book
I did one..hardly anyone signed it. There was wayyy cuter ideas out there now though!
I really like the one where people make a photobook out of their e-pics and have guests sign that.
I also love the one with the painting of a tree and having the guests make leaves out of their fingerprints. They come out sooo beautiful!

Re: Guest book
We have an album of our e-pics we made on Shutterfly and left room for people to sign. If they sign, great! If they don't, no big deal because we would have made the album anyways.

We had a photobooth that printed out double prints so the guests can keep one print and then cut out pics on the other print and glue into a guest book...then they wrote messages next to the pics. I love reading through the book, it's hilarious.
That is a great memory. Helps if you forget who someone looks like after so many years.

we are doing the same thing!!! :)
i'm actually one of those guests that never signs the guestbook at weddings (looking back, i now feel bad) and I know it goes overlooked often so I think it you want to do one, it's important to make it creative

I agree.. i heard of people doing a tree but not a fingerprint one?
Another thing I've heard of is having a picture of the bride & groom & everyone signing around it. I kind of want something big & noticeable so that noone forgets to sign it!

Re: Guest book
we did these - it's poster-size, and made of flexible-strong paper (that's the best i could describe it). it rolls up from both sides.
it's huge, noticeable and as you can see - it's filled up with lots of signatures!
We're tight in budget, and wanted a photobooth. My brother and his gf are our photographers, (don't worry they are professionals, they do this for a living), so they mentioned about setting up a professional camera, clicker, and allow our guests to take pics of themselves. They showed us someone's wedding with these pics and as the party went on the pics got more funny.
ETA: I am thinking of getting props for the guests.
