guest book help!!

I wanted to do something 'different' for our guest book, since our wedding is near Xmas I was thinking to do something like ornaments people can sign or something but I am not sure how that would work.. I have been on Etsy and was going to do a fingerprint tree but I don't think it would be big enough for the number of people we are going to have..

Anyone have any fun cute ideas that I could do?

I saw some where that people got bottles of wine and put labels on them like 1st, 5th, 10th anniversary and they got paint pens and people signed them. Depends on how many people you are having my friend had about 250 at her wedding and she got one of those huge bottles of wine ( like you see on display in Italian restaurants)and had her guests sign that.
