i have no idea if i should get one. i honestly do not remember ever seeing one at a wedding!! am i blind?
i dont think im having one. ive never been to a wedding that even had one.
I dont know if I want a guest book or a sig. board. I think if I got a sig. board I will never hang it up but with a book I can always put it on a shelf.

I don't know if I am going to get a guest book specifically but I know I want something for the guests to sign.. I might get a picture of us blown up with space for people to write around it, or I might get one of those plates you can write on, if I can find one I like.

I had a photo guestbook. Photos of DH and I (1-2 pics per page) and then the guests signed all around the pics.
I brought the book to the rehearsel dinner so at least all the important people got to sign it. I made it from picaboo.com
I wasn't going to have one either. But then FH had a good point. I'm planning on inviting all single people with a guest (who I may not even know). What happens when I have to write the thank you...would I write 'Dear Frank and Guest,' If I had a guest book, I could double check the person's name and spelling. I'm still not 100% sure, but he had a good point.

Of course i havent been to a wedding that didnt have one or at least a sig board. People sign it before the wedding begins so it nice to have the memories.
we are doing one but we are having the photobooth so that is going to be used as our wedding guest scrapbook/ guest book. i just hope everyone takes pictures in it and we dont get too many of the same people
If it were my wedding, I'd buy the Guestbooks,because I'm into stuff like that!!!! Debi didn't have money for them, and Donna is also sticking to a tight budget. Mary MOB
We're doing a custom calendar at Zazzle.com or something like that with photos of us and we'll ask people to sign in the borders around the photos.
I voted for definitly not...too tacky. I dont think its tacky I just dont think anyone will sign it
I probably wouldn't do it...I don't think my sister had one, and if she did, I didn't even sign it! The wedding we went to prior had one, but we didn't sign it because we didn't feel comfortable.
I'm going to do a well wishes jar, I will have a nice jar maybe a tall hurricane style one and fancy note cards for who ever wants to write well wihes for us! It's not a def idea but I saw a pic of this in a magazine once and loved it so we will see as it gets closer!
