Re: guest books
We used the same thing as Stacy and it was a huge hit. Everyone was so creative in there wishes for us and even drew pictures. It is such a priceless memory. I liked it because everyone was able to write something personal to us, instead of just a name!

Re: guest books
I am having a wish bowl and a guest book. Why both? I really only wanted to have the wish bowl, but my family says that some of the older guests may not use the wish bowl, so to keep track of all that came- Guest Book.
I am not going to fight this one.

Re: guest books
For those of you who used the picture, did you have it standing up or laying down on a table? Also, what kind of pens did you use? I don't want the pens smudging.

Re: guest books
I will have it on the table. The pen we are using comes from the company and they say it wont smudge or fade

Re: guest books
Stace- would you say it was definatly worth it? i was thinking about doing that.
christy- i saw a similar one to stace's... the bride made her own on the computer. she printed it up with colored ink and added her own personal touches. if i can find the picture i'll post it.

Re: guest books
Without a doubt the Guestbook we did was worth it, I was just reading it again on Christmas with my aunt and she was laughing hysterically at some of the comments and awww-ing at others. I do think that it stopped my guests from dancing immediately since they were all writing them out, but it was so worth it...they all eventually danced anyway!!

Re: guest books
I also did a signing frame similar to Guestures, but got ours from Michaels on sale 50% off - $15/ea
We got 2 frames - 1 for the BP/Fam to sign at the RD & we'll put a pic of us & our BP in that frame. The other is for guests to sign at the reception. Both 16x20 matted frame & holds an 8x10 picture.
