guest list...

they say compiling up your guest list is the hardest part. sorry i just have to vent out, our hall holds 175, but we can go up to 200, it would require some playing around with as far as tables but i want to keep it at 175. my dad wants to invite every person he knows and my fmil keeps coming up with random pple to invite that i have never met nor heard of nor does fh care about.

i know its all gonna work out in the end, prob 1/2 of fh family isnt gonna come cause they are from out of state and then there will be alot of spots to invite more pple my parents want to. i keep telling him we arent inviting everyone the 1st round of invites until we get responses that are no. if i did that then id be screwed with everyone saying yes and having too many people.

i hope this is the hardest part of the wedding.

on a happier note, one of my bm just brought over my envelopes that she hand calligraphied....they look amazing, now i know its really real :)

If you are doing an A and B list just make sure to set your A list RSVP date early enough that you have time to send out the B round. You may even want to have 2 sets of response cards printed, one to go out w/ A list containing appropriate RSVP date and a second set for the latter round.
