So we have our preliminary guest list. Way over minimum and have been trying to slim it down. We have our definites and we have our must invite but definitely won't attend. Well I just found out 6 people on my definitely won't attend are definitely attending AND are staying at Danfords to attend the bruch the next morning. I am now nervous because many of our definite nos have told us in the last month how they all cannot wait to attend our festivities. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!
We have that problem also! The people who we thought we def not coming are now coming. We invited more people since we thought those people were not coming. Oh vey! I think FH and I need to sit down and go over the guest list and make a B list. Good luck, I know exactly how you feel!
I'm sure people will end up responding NO because something will come up...not necessarily more important than your wedding, but like an illness in the family or limited funds etc.
Same thing is happening to me. My mom insisted on inviting some people and was like oh they're not going to come, they won't travel... and she insisted i send STD's which i didn't want to give them any extra notice... well 2 couples already booked rooms and a bunch of others keep emailing me telling me they can't wait. So now my mom owes me money.
i invited 240, and my final count was 171, i was very happy with that number, i couldn't imagine having 240! lol
