I know this has been posted before. I'm freaking out because my guest list is at 250! I'm expecting 150. What are the odds that 100 people will say no? Now my fh is mad. He's saying I should cut the list. But we sent std... What should I do? Pray?

It's hard to predict! Depends on a lot of things. A lot of my out of towners (and out of the country) guests declined. And I didn't get my venue and date set until 4 months before the wedding, so quite a few people had vacation plans. And even though it's 10 days away, I am waiting to hear on 10-15% of the invites still!
We had 75 people say no! But they were also out if state too.
you will get more no's then you think. but you wont get them till the end. we invited 220 ended up with 165, got most of the no's in the last week and a half.

We invited 265 and are hoping not to pass 180. So far we have 20 no's and 98 yes' s. Generally 20-25% say no.

@TJD There is hope but now my FMIL is saying if person A says no then invite person B... Girl you need to order more invites... I can't exclude anyone... etc... I just want to say 'LADY, SHOW ME THE $$$!!!!' (Sorry for the vent)

Wow thats a lot!! I'm sure you'll get more no's! Are you in the bigger room at LM that is min 200 guests?
Are alot of your guests from out of town? That increases the possibility of a 'no.' Almost ALL of my OOT guests are 'no' because of the expense of travelling and staying at a LI hotel.
