What is the estimated percentage of NOs? Isn't there a statistic on this somewhere (I know it's been higher lately, right???)
We have 240 on our overall guest list, but are hoping to keep it to 200 if possible. Also want to make a 175 minimum if needed.......

I think it's generally 20% No - but it depends on how many OOT guests you have. I know looking at my list I'm definitely not getting 20% No - I'll be lucky if I get 10%.

I keep hearing/reading about people trying to even just make their minimum.

I don't really believe in the %. When my supervisor got married he invited 160 people to his wedding and 158 people came. That's not 20%. lol

it depends.... if you're guest list is smaller with mostly close friends and family, you're likely to get alot less no.... if your guest list is bigger with more distant friends and family, then you're likely to get more no's.... so the 20% rate isn't standard... it really depends....
for me, with a guest list of 394, not including a 9 piece band, 2 photographers, 2 videographers, and 2 assistants, i hope its alot more than 20% lol

i have heard anywhere from 15% to 30%....i think it really depends on various factors like how many OOT ppl you have etc.

They normally say about 20 percent, depending on how many oot guests..however if you look at some of 09 brides some of them had 40-50 percent say no
