We sent TYs before our wedding because we had a bunch of 'nos' send gifts and I wanted to get the TYs off my plate. Some gifts also came in super early, so I felt bad waiting until weeks after the wedding.

However, since were weren't married yet when we sent them, we did not use our wedding TY notes. We used others that just said our first names.

I've been sending generic tys for the before gifts. I don't want people thinking I didn't get the gift.

Not sure if ill send the picture one after.

see, i feel if i got a gift (check), and they see me cash it 2 months before my wedding, i think that person would be offended I didn't acknowledge with at least a phone call or a note....

I would send one now (handwritten cheap card from the card store) and send a photo one out after.
