Guilt about where to order dress....

Ok I may have found a dress...well its between 2 that are very expensive. I have been back to the same place 2x..the girl is so sweet and I would hate to not give her the commision BUT I know that I could probably order it somewhere else for less!

My mother says not to worry about it...but I feel so guilty!

Maybe you could tell the place that you like that you found it for less elsewhere and they will give you a discount.

OMG...don't let that make you pay more for it. If it's the difference of like $20 bucks okay...but not if the diff. is in the hundreds. You can give her a tip or a 'thank you for your help' card. They might even be willing to match the price.

I don't know what to do!! I feel sooo bad! It would be a huge difference!!

Burtons told me they could discount like 15-20%. At Macy's I get like 10% off since I am on the registry.

If its a huge difference, then I wouldn't pay more, don't feel bad. You really should ask if they will match the price!

Personally, if the don't match the price I wouldn't buy it from Macy's. Maybe it would help if you talk to the manager.

Ohhh, also another way to show the salesgirl your appreciation is to talk to her supervisor and put in a good word.

don't feel bad. its your $$ you choose where to order the dress.like the other girls said, ask if they will either match the price or at least see if they will offer you a discount

I ordered my dress already elsewhere and I made an appointment tomorrow to show my cousin the dress at macys.

im glad you had a good experience with Macys... i went to the one in Smithaven mall today... they lady was SOOOO nasty, rude and mean! i couldnt wait to get out of there!

really? I stopped in there a month or two ago and they were SOOO nice,

I have an appointment tomorrow, hope it is the same lady.

yeah... i walked out so upset... the woman was putty down maggie dresses the entire time, saying they were very low end, and how a lot of her dresses have lace-up backs and she just cant stand them, adn dont understand how brides deal with them the day of...and that they dont display them and they keep them in the back and that i shouldnt have gone there for maggie dresses... they are a demetrios salon... then she got mad at me because i didnt want her in the dresses room with me when i was not dressed!!

OMG the lady I had said that she wished they werent just demetrios based and that maggies were sooo beautiful and more brides order hers than demetrios
