If I want my FH to know what a color name is I have to use the names Fender uses for them.
Example
Me: Lauren's wedding colors are yellow and Tiffany blue. FH: ??? Me: 1960's Stratocaster Daphne Blue. FH: Oh, okay.

soooo true! we had almost the same convo last night when talking to the DJ about uplighting the DJ made a joke how the girls will look through the book of colors and the guys will see purple for example and the girls are like it 'light violet' lol soo soo soo true

haha love this, same goes for flowers. when we booked the florist, it was my second time meeting with them and FHs first. I recapped all the ideas the florist and I had and FH goes 'i have no idea what any of that means'... i had to use terms like 'white-ish' and 'pink-ish' for him to get it

FH and I were discussing colors before. He said his sister had teal and now I can't do teal bc I don't wnat to have the same colors, I feel like its weird. So then he's like well it was greenish. SO i had him go through wedding magazines until he found something the same color as her dresses.
