guys...need help...debating with fh

One of us, wants the adesso polaroid guestbook. It holds 30 pictures but we're going to have about 60 couples.

Therefore, there are either going to have to be group shots, some people will not have their picture in the book, or we have to get two albums.

They're expensive, so whoever wants it, would only get one.

so ladies, advice please....polaroid guestbook, or nay?

I am doing the same thing, I bought the stater kit, and like you I will have more than 30 couples so I will have to get another album and more film and yes I know its expensive but what can you

ok... so before i ever heard about the Adesso thing...

we went to a wedding in August '03... and they had a 'polaroid guest book' but it was just a nice book with alot of plain white papers, and they had a mini polaroid camera, glue stick, markers, stamps, gel pens, and all that stuff, and you could put multiple pictures on 1 page... and i Loved it!!!

so when i saw the adesso book, i was like 'thats cute, but its so limited' ... so i may just find a nice book with plain pages (no lines) and do the same thing

and also, most people aren't going to fill up that WHOLE page around their pic, ya know?




ETA: oh, the pages were Thick in it though... so it was probably a scrap book type of book... but it was sooo cute, and left more room for creativity, ya know? and there were Alot more pages

I got my book..I decided definitely groupshots! :) 30 isn't enough and I didn't want to spend $60 more on it so I have a BM in charge of it. I got the adesso album from JenniBrick for $52.00. With shipping it is about $60. I also purchased a Polaroid camera on eBay for $1.25 ($15 shipping! ) and 5 packs of film on eBay for about $35 total....so all in all $111.25 out of pocket! Expensive but I thought it would be a great and special way to capture some memories.

we're going to do a polaroid guest book but since we have at least 150 guests getting 5 books would be kind of silly and a big waste of money IMO.

we're just going to buy a scrapbook (or two) and do it that way. we'll either have markers out where people can write on the bottom of the picture and we'll put them into a scrapbook after the wedding or we'll put those photocorners in already (or just plop down a gluestick) and put them in as people are taking the pics.

thats what this couple did w/ theirs (the one i was talking about before)... but they just put a glue stick, and people took pics, glued them in, and then write their wishes by their pics. i dont remember if they had a little card by it w/ directions on how to do it, but we'll probably do an instruction card

before i read your post i didn't even think about a gluestick.. but thats such a good idea. that im thinking im gonna steal it. and that way if they write like a sentence.. we can stick more then one pic on the page.

writing up a directions card shouldn't be too hard, plus we've already put the boyfriend of one of my MOHs to man this part of the wedding. he was upset he didn't get to be a GM so we're like we saved you for the hard part! plus, he's the type of guy who will make sure EVERYONE takes a pic.. okay, i'm off on a random tangent. .sorry!
