Yup... went twice. Best time is the Fall. Love the look with the pumpkins. There's so many you just go to as many as you want and do some wine tastings. It's pretty cheap... like $5 to $10 for a few tastings. Some nice restaurants to eat at too. Pindar and some others are more famous. We got a bunch of white wine there. It gets pretty busy on Saturdays.

I go like 4 or 5 times a year - Yeah we got issues
It's such a fun day to go with a group and not even for the drinking part, but the cute shops and in the summer they usually have bands outside playing at some of the Wineries

My personal favorite is Duckwalk, and way back when i know they didn't charge for tastings not sure if they do now...but that is the South Fork...and the North Fork tends to have more in a row...here is a website that list a whole bunch.
I went for the first time this past summer. I couldn't drink anything but my FI raved about some great wines. The one we went to was Martha Clara and it was so much fun. Everyone there is so personable and fun to talk to and they have 4-6 wines to taste for free. I'm totally going again this summer now that I'm 21. I would totally look into doing a limousine tour too!

Plenty of times. Wine tasting is one of my favorite things to do. I've been to most of the vineyards on the North Fork. My friends sometimes organize party buses out there and my friends are planning to do this for my bachelorette party.
We do the tastings at each place..which is pretty cheap at most places and then buy bottles to share outside. A lot of them have picnic areas where you can bring your own food.

I have never stayed over night, but there are a ton of Bed and Breakfast places.
It is such a great time!! Definitely recommend making a trip out to the North Fork. Vineyard 48 and Macari are my favorites. Palmer and Roanoke are great too and Martha Clara is huge!

I've never stayed the night, but East Wind Inn isn't far. You could always stay there.

Yes I've been to the Wineries numerous times....it's a lot of fun...my parents have a summer house in Southold so we always crashed there...but there are some hotels now (Best Western) in Riverhead...but if you want to be closer to the bulk of the Wineries there are a few inns/motels in Greenport...especially if you go in the summer it's a lot of fun there since it's right on the water...def go to Claudio's if you go to Greenport.
