Had my interview yesterday....
OMG it was BRUTAL!
3 hours long and 3 people. One HR, one was my ex boss who picked my brain for new ideas, one was the CFO.
I felt so exhausted when it was over that I picked up Jim, told him to drive and slept on the way home!
HR lady was nice.
I like my ex boss so that was interesting but strange since technically we (my current employer) are her broker any comments I make can be taken as broker advice and she has free rein to use my ideas even if I don't get the job.
CFO was ok, but the questions were so off the wall. It was a claims/loss analyst position in a risk management team and he's asking me how I'd approach their current problems with rising benefit cost to their P&L and earnings in an effective way to both the company and the employees!
that was just ONE of the questions.
He SQUEEZED me for information. I'll say this, that was the most intense interview I've EVER had.. and I have NOTHING else to offer then, he got every single ace i had in my sleeve and pulled out cards I never knew I had!!!
I'm the first one to make it to 'stage 2' which is seeing him.
He wants other canidates to choose from which he'll then allow us back to interview with other 'team mates' to see if we have a good chemistry before he makes any final decisions!
