We live on a rather large piece of property. During the nicer months the deer almost eat breakfast with us. (don't want them to get to close - deer ticks and all) Everyday we see families of deer grazing, new deer coming into the fold etc. The kids have even named some of the deer. So why do hunters have to come on my private property and blow these beautiful animals away? Imagine shooting deer a few hundred feet from my house on my property! Are these guys nuts or am I missing something here? Do they need the food that badly or are they just to lazy to go to stop and shop for a snack? Stay off my property! Do not bring guns on my property! And do not knock on my door and ask if you can shoot deer on my property! Okay, vent over. I feel better. Thanks!

How are they allowed on your property? You should put signs up saying you will prosecute whoever is on your land. I would say put up a fence, but then that woud keep the deer out.

They are not allowed! There are signs, they tear them down. Fence will hurt the animals and do you have any idea what it would cost to fence 100 acres?

they really ring your doorbell and ask if they can shoot the deer? that's insane!!!
i saw some guy hunting along the side of the highway when i lived upstate....i was so tempted to run him over and ask him how fair it was for me to do that to him!

Last year my daughter got off the school bus and some knuckle head blew away a deer 30 feet in front of her on my driveway. Idiot!!!

I was thinking the same thing.. I live in NJ and we have deer all over..I love them and the thought of someone shooting them makes me sick.

A few weeks ago I chased a guy off my property. He said he paid the guy next door to hunt on this property. Ummm this property is my property. Get a refund!

You've got to be kidding? That is not a way to live! I would be scared of the flying bullets. Can you call the Parks Commission and discuss this w/ them?

That's crazy! I thought there wer strict rules about hunting.. only certain times of year, in certain places! I can kinda see, if they are hunting & don't relize it begins to become private property, but close enough tot see your daughter get off the school bus! Hello! driveway. . .private property!

i thnk hunting for sport is so wrong and just unnecessary when there are supermarkets that have it prepared for you. oy, it gets me so mad. there is no need to kill Bambi
