Hair

I have six girls in my wedding party, me, and my mom that need their hair done. My wedding is on saturday afternoon so i can go to a salon.

The question is - is it better to go to the salon or have someone come to do my hair

i am paying for all my girls hair - so price difference is as important

A couple of things to consider. You are being very generous and paying for your BM hair so with yourself included there are 7 people that need to get their hair done in a short amount of time.

I got my hair done at the house and it was wonderful and it didn't add any stress to the day. I didn't have to worry about driving, the weather, if the shop was running behind. If you can find someone who can do all 7 of you at home, I would say go for it!!!

If you go to the shop, you have the advantage of everyone getting done faster. Remember depending upon what style they select an updo takes about 30-45 minutes for each girl. Longer for you the bride.

I think w/ 7 girls it may be easier (and less confusion the day of) to GO to the salon. That way there are multiply stylists to work on the wedding party, YOUR stylist will not have to feel rushed w/ you - and if you're all there together it's a lot of fun. -
For my cousin's wedding we took over the salon and made a party out of it -

I had both hair and make up come to my house but it was for 5 girls including myself!! But it was so much better that way I wasn't stressed that if I took to long in a salon and then drive home and get dressed!! Once I was finished I went right up stairs and got dressed I didn't feel rushed like I would of at a salon!! JMO
