Hair and Make-up Time?

If my photographer is coming at 1:30 and the limo at 2:15, what time should hair and make-up come?


I have 5 girls besides me.

I have one person doing all of our make-up and I haven't booked hair yet. So I am not sure of I will have nor than one person.


What is a good time. I don't want to be late, but I don't want to have my hair and make-up fade.

I am wondering same thing. My ceremony is at 4 and hair said she thought maybe starting at 9:30am. Isn't that early?? I want to be done as late as possible, right before photog is arriving, so I still feel fresh for the ceremony.

this is the way we did it:

Make up: 5 girls (including me) got their make up done, 1 person doing it, she was there at 5:00a.m. cause she needed 3 1/2 hrs. max to do everyone

hair: we had 2 girls come and do 6 heads of hair, and they started at about 6 a.m and were done by 8 a.m.

photographer arrived at 8:00 a.m. and limo was ther by about 9:00 a.m. to come get me and the girls.

so getting ready time should start about at least 3 hrs or so before the photographer comes to make sure you get some 'getting ready shots' before you get dressed. (your make up will be done last, while your hair is done first usually, as the bride)

whoa, thats an early day! i dont envy you girls w/ early ceremonies bc i need my sleep to function during the day!! thats one day I want to be well rested, Lord I hope miraculously I have no nerves and can fall asleep early!
