So I went to my salon this weekend to book my hair and makeup for the big day. I got a quote and I dont know if this is average, could you ladies let me know before I book anything.

She gave me a quote of 150 for my hair 125 for each additional girl to have their hair done. ( I def am getting my hair done by her)

For makeup she is charging 125 ( no airbrushing) each girl including myself. (I kinda wanted airbrushing, never had it done so idk the diffrence anyways)


Is this a little steep? I def dont think that I can ask my girls to pay 300 for JUST hair and makeup and I def cant pay for them because I have 13 girls in my BP.

Yeah i think that's a bit much. I went with the higher priced hair and makeup people and mine is charging $85 for bridesmaid hair and $100 for bridesmaid makeup (comes with airbrush and eyelash extensions because of the amount of girls i have). Are you open to using other people? Check out Christy Ann Cosmetics and Beautiful Brides by Lauren. They're seriously amazing.

Haven't had hair quote yet but makeup is steep, usually bride is 125/150!especially if they are traveling, but the bridesmaids should be less and with 13 girls she should def be giving you a break...I would say 85 to 100 per girl for makeup is fair...

I have to agree, $300 is a bit steep for the bridal party. Can you offer hair & make-up to them and whoever doesn't mind the price, can use them... other wise they can get their hair & make-up done by someone else or do it themselves?

OR maybe hire someone else a little cheaper specifically for the BP to use?

My make-up the day of is: $175 for bride & $100 for girls.

& Hair: $75 for Bride & $60 for girls.

thanks girls for the advice! I am not making them come over and pay that price, If they want to go elsewhere they can. I might hire someone else to do makeup and hair for the bridal party who is a little cheaper bc I do want some of my girls to get ready with me I dont want to be all by myself

Im using Christy Ann for makeup and Im paying for all my girls to have their make up done and got it in a package s I dont know how much it is individually. Im using Dusti from Fire Monkey and it is 90 for the bride and 70 for the girls.

That is definitely above average. For my girls it's $70 for hair (Angela) and $65 for makeup (Sandra Baldini). Haven't had my hair trial yet, but my makeup came out fabulous!
