Okay so, based on * M * I * A *'s wonderful reviews (and not even 1 bad review!) I am planning on booking her tomorrow without a trial. I’m getting frustrated because I don’t have my dress yet. By the time I have my dress, there’s a possibility she will be booked, as my wedding is less then 4 months away.
Have any of you ladies booked her before a trial? Are you picky? Etc. I just don’t want to make a mistake… But at the same time, her reviews are unbelievably great… And with what I need, she is so accommodating.
Thoughts?

i'm biased. I love her! I would tell anyone to book her with NO WORRIES but you should STILL have a trial

I really don't have time for a trial and then decide to book her I am going oversees on Tuesday to buy my dress... And that is the main reason, I want to book her before the trial...I'd hate to come back and find out she is booked.
Of course I will do a trial as soon as I have my dress!!
Okay -- Not that I am going to hold it to you but you really think she's that great and can knacker anything?
Personally, I am more concerned about neatness.. I've seen some people's work and it looks like a hot mess! (And not the kind of look they were probably going for!)
ALSO- Do her updo's last the whole night? I am getting my hair done 7am for 1pm pictures and then 4pm ceremony. She is then going to come back at 6pm and re-do my hair!

Im using her and I can't wait!! Did you make sure she is free on your day??? I'm in December and I booked her in November and she alraedy had a bride booked on my day but it worked out ok cause my ceremony is at 7pm.

She's kind of free... I will just need to do my hair 1 hour earlier then I want to... But you gotta do what ya gotta do...you know?
So anyway- yeah she is basically free :)

her hair do and makeup will last against a hurricane...the curls i had in my hair stayed in my hair for like 4 days...
you won't be disappointed..she is AWESOME!!!

I love her and wouldn't have had anyone else do my hair the day of. You will not be disappointed! I figured out what I wanted to do with my hair a week before the wedding! She has the patience of a saint!

i booked her without a trial for hair and make-up! she did both for my friend aristotelina and she was very happy with her and looked amazing on her wedding day. and yes...i am very picky lol

I've only seen/heard great things...and I think I'm part of the minority here, but I like trials to be done really close to the wedding date, most people change their mind a bunch of times on what they want anyway. I say book it!

if you love her work then go for it. Personally i wanted a trial first. I saw the mu and hair artists work alot before i booked and i'll say that I LOVED each and every trial and day of wedding pics i saw but i still had to have a trial. I also wanted to make sure I clicked with the person and got along bc the last thing I wanted on my wedding day was to deal with someone for 2 hours that I didn't care for lol. I did do my trials a year before the wedding, not even to get the look i want for my wedding a year before but just to make sure i liked what they did, made sure they listened to me bc honestly i didnt care if i saw everyones make up looking great, if it wasnt what i wanted then it wouldnt matter. So i only did a trial that early bc i wanted to book somebody i really wanted before somebody else booked them but wanted to make sure i like them first.
Her work always looks great though, so i doubt she would do a bad job on you. As long as youre confident and have no problems with booking without a trial.

SHe is AMAZING! Don't doubt it at all! My hair is really heavy and curls never hold up too well in my hair and that's what I was worried about...***'s curls stayed PERFECT (slept with my hair done) and still amazing.
