You can do both. My friend did
I did both. I had a crystal hair comb on the side of my head and my cathedral veil from the back with a comb. I loved it and it was comfortable!
Do u think u can out the comb/clip right above the veil almost resting on it?
Thanks Irishbride. So you put the crystal comb in first and then the veil comb was over it? And they both stayed put well with bobby pins?
I had my hair piece on the side and my veil in the back, but both stayed very nice in my hair. I didn't even need bobby pins, they both stayed in well with just their attached clips.

I'm doing both as well, just like Irishbride17. I see no issues with it at all.
I just got my comb from francines in sayville- I got a floral lace type comb that i will put on the side (my hair will be half up half down and curled) and was able to put on a veil at the store just to see how it looks together. It looked really nice, and I liked that I was able to see it all together.. even though it wasn't exactly the veil i bought, it still gave me the picture I was looking for
