Hair Emergency!

I need a cut and color about 4 weeks ago - when I called for an appt with my usual guy - Joe- today was the first available appt. So I sucked it up and waited.

TODAY - the salon called to tell me he doesnt work there anymore....

ACK!!!!! I MUST get it done today - I have a trade show next week and my hair is horrible - so do I throw caution to the wind and just see someone else at the same salon???

do any other the colorists and dressers have a good reputation that you know about? I know at the place I go to I go to one woman (the owner) and use one of her girls I know does good work as a backup when needed.
