Can anyone recommend a hair and/or makeup person who is affordable? I don't live in NY so it's hard for me to know where to go. I keep seeing prices of over $100 for each and some of the ones I'm interested in require a minimum number of people. I feel like I can't expect my BP to pay close to $200 for hair & makeup on top of dresses and hotels (most of them aren't from LI either). Help please!!

I found them all to be around that price.
Your best bet if you want to save money is to look for a salon that does both. Where's your hotel? Maybe some LIW girls can suggest a place nearby...?

My hair person is ridiculously expensive so if you're on a budget I don't recomend him but he is AMAZING! But my makeup person is very affordable!!!! Her name is Cindy Martins her email is [email protected] She is a makeup artist for YSL and she used to work for Shu Uremura (awesome Japanese line) She is great! I highly reccomend her! XOXOXO Kitty

I used Jacuqline Nicole for make up and Sarah & Briget Rock for hair. They were AMAZING.
JN charges $65 for make up for BP, and the Rock sisters charge about $70-80 for updo's. that would bring the BP total to about $150 for both
However the charge for the bride is $125 for JN (or $150 for airbrush) and $150 for hair.
they did such an outstanding job, i think it's worth ti!

Im having a fabulous MAC artist do mine- her name's Marty and I have her contact info (FM me if needed). She did my sisters wedding and I was in the BP, she does an awesome job. She doesn't have a min. but is a little above 100 on day of, but you dont pay for trial.
