Hair Piece

Hair Piece

Has anyone seen these hair pieces at the Kiosks in the malls. I tried one on at Roosevelt field. You pull you own hair up into a pony and then this heir piece clips on to your pony. The one I tried had curls, and looked just like an up do in any one of the pics with curls pulled up. really cute and only 59.00.....anyone else try one?

My initial thought was no way, not fake hair, but after I tried it, I am considering it.

Re: Hair Piece

I found one by accident at one of those kiosks that matched my hair exactly. I ended up using it and my updo looked really nice with the piece in it. It depends on what kind of look you want. I was looking for a very classic, 50's style updo. Noone had any clue that it was fake and it matched my hair color perfectly.
here's a couple of pics -

My MOH wore one for my wedding and it looked really great.

I wore one:

And I loved it.
It was so easy to do my hair and I didn't have to use to much crap in it to make it fuller.
Plus, my hair is so flat it would have deflated within 10 minutes.
My sister and mom both used them as well.
That's my mom in the bottom left corner. I had my girlfriends pin the 'hair' into barrel curls so it would resemble an updo:

That's my sister in the red dress:

Hers was a more obvious hairpiece, but it looked really nice.

Re: Hair Piece

I just called Paulina the Bridal Assistant and she said that she will have no problem working with one. That was the only thing holding me back from buying one...not being able to find a stylist willing to work with it.

Re: Hair Piece

Where did all you ladies get you hair pieces? I would like to buy one - preferably online.

Re: Hair Piece

You can get ones for like $15 at CVS - the ones at the mall kiosks are a major rip-off.
