Hair - poll

All along I've been thinking to just get my hair done with my regular lady but I'm afraid she won't be able to do the simple style that I want.

Don't get me wrong, she's great with hair (coloring, and blow drying) but I've only asked her to style my hair once and I ended up with some hard curls that were NOT at all what I wanted. I went on Monday for my roots and I brought my hair comb and blusher veil and talked about what I wanted and she said we should just do a couple of trials to get the look I want, but when it came to putting in the hair comb just to get an idea, I didn't feel like she was confident in doing it right and now I'm afraid she won't be able to do my hair how I want (basically mostly down with some waves/curls).

So I have a makeup trial with Mia this Saturday. Should I just suck it up and pay for the hair trial too? I don't really have any extra money since we're paying for the whole wedding. Also I feel like that would be disloyal to my hair lady, and then I KNOW my hair lady would be less than half the cost of Mia for hair so I don' t know what to do. Any suggestions? I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts - maybe something I'm not considering.
