I'd like to get my very thick, wavy hair blown out stright for a wedding this Sunday. I'll be coming from my Dad's in Kings Park - can anyone recommend a good hair salon in KP or Commack? Thanks!

I am getting my hair done at Cactus, as well, but the one in Mayfair.

Alison - I'll be there too - I re-scheduled and now am at the one in Mayfair - it's closer to my dad's.
My appointment is at 9:45AM on Sunday, will you be there?
BTW -I'm not from there, my dad moved there after my parents got divorced. So I know the area pretty well from visiting him.

Sorry, I meant I'll be in COMMACK this weekend (I live in DC), not at Cactus. However, there IS a chance I might stop by there Sunday morning to confirm my appointments (I have my trial there next month and then for the wedding day itself). We have to be at a meeting with our priest at our church at 11 am so I may be by Cactus around 10:30 or so. Think you'll still be there? I'll look for you!
