How early are you and your bridal party getting you're hair done for the wedding day? I have a 2:00 ceremony and 9 people including myself getting their hair done at my house. Because my hair person has another event, I was told she would have to finish at 11:00 which I originally thought would be ok (make up is starting around 10 and end around 1). Is that too early? Also that means everything would get started around 6 in the morning...is anyone else who has a large bridal party having hair done that early too? All of a sudden everything is sounding too early for me lol

We have a 4pm start time and my hair lade will be at my house at 8 am! there are 7 girls getting their hair done and we have to be done by 2pm for pictures!

I have a 6pm ceremony and I'm going to start 8 or 9am, no later! One of my bridesmaids think I'm nuts, but I have 5 girls, myself and 1 stylist (my dad) so then he still has to get home and get ready and whatnot. Still need to find someone for makeup!

I'm letting my girls get their hair done wherever they want - they don't have to use the same person I'm using if they don't want to, but I will give them that option. Most likely, the hair person is not going to be coming to my house (I'll be going to the salon itself). For the girls not coming with me, I am just going to be giving them a time that they HAVE TO be at my mother's house and they can plan out their morning and hair appts. based on that. I don't want anyone to feel rushed, especially the hair stylist.

I'm not too far off from you....my ceremony starts at 3:30 but my hair person also has another event and has to be done with me at 10:30am! I was nervous but I'm doing makeup after that and then all pictures before around the city....she assured me that my hair would stay. I think you are definitely okay.

I was thinking about this too...we figured that my 8 person BP would have to be at my house at 6 am (about 45-hr/girl) in order to be ready by our ceremony which even starting at 6 am isn't enough time for us. so we decided that the girls can go to a salon near my house/their hotel and then come meet at my house while my mom and i are getting ready. Maybe some of your girls can go to a salon and some can get their hair done with you so it's not as time consuming.

Thanks for all the responses guys! I gave everyone a choice and they all wanted to get it done at my house and I told them it would be early and what not im just thinking wow what a long day!! lol

No I actually think that's perfect! She finishes hair at 11 then you do make-up and then you're photog should be arriving about 12/12:30-ish to take some getting ready pics and you're out the door by 1:30!
