OK, I know I have been pretty busy lately b/c between work and all this wedding planning things have been nuts! I miss the boards so much and try to come on as much as I can... I think I will have even more time as the weeks go by because things are getting a little more 'normal' for me!
I had my HAIR TRIAL tonight with Sarah Rock!!!! I'm so happy with her, she is so sweet and VERY talented. She is going to bring her sister along to make sure everyone gets done on time and she works SO fast!!
Then, MY HEADPIECE, which is by Denise Leli OMG Denise customized this piece for me and she was the one who was SO patient to sit with me time and time again when we were trying to come up with the idea for exactly what I wanted. Somehow, she was able to read my mind and made my spray! I'm so in love with it-- it's exactly what I wanted: unique yet beautiful She is probably by far one of the best vendors I have!

I think the hair piece is very beautiful and unique. As far as the hair do goes, The bun is very sophisticated and classy. My suggestion is I think instead of pulling it all back maybe you can try parting it sideways lieka sweep and then pulling it back. I think it would add a little something special to your face. Dani, I actually agree with this... If it's the look you're going for, then perfect, but it looks very simple in the front. I think the side part (or maybe even a *slight* poof in the front) would give it a little something extra without making it distracting or taking away from the beauty of the back. But like mskitty said, if you love it, then it's still very pretty.
LOL that was our convo!! Me and Sarah were sitting there going back and fourth... BUT the reason we chose to do it this way is because Denise has something in the works for me to add to it. She has two seperate pieces kind of like VINES that go from the back and flow from the piece and kinda 'hint' and sweep towards the front. That way, from the front you can see that there's something big waiting for you in the back!
She actually saw it and said 'Oh I need those pieces!!!!' She is waiting on extra materials to come in that she uses to make her pieces-- then, once it does I'll have them and we can play around... But that was the reason I wanted it to be simple in the front-- b/c with the sweep and the crystal vines-- it would be too much (we think at least) but that's why!
So funny b/c we were thinking the same thing but that is what we determined. If, for some reason, I don't like the way the vines look and they don't work how I think they will-- then I will just scrap that and use the piece I have and change the front so I have a sweep or a part or something going on.
Ahhhhh! That totally makes sense! Sounds like a good plan!
Oh, and the veil and placement are perfect for that hairstyle!

I laugh at the Queen reference because here I am avoiding tiaras because I feel silly in them and in no way shape or form do I think I'm royalty-- SO, I go and get this style and like FOUR people (you being one of them and Sarah- my hair person- being another) tells me 'Oh you look like a member of the Royal family!' I'm like OH NO lol lol because I don't think of myself in those high respects AT ALL so it's very odd to try and personify that look... weird!!!
It's like when I put on my cathedral veil at Denise's... Her and her daughter were like 'wow!' and I'm like 'I feel like a bee keeper' LOL!!!!! Because that's the truth!! I still, to this day, feel RIDICULOUS when I try on this wedding stuff or get my hair done... I hope that feeling goes away but I don't think it will
