I asked, because I'm torn. I want an up do and my mom says I look much better with my hair down. I have a chubby face with various chins

half up with curls-but im also putting some extensions in to make my hair fuller and longer....

I hate the way my hair looks all up. Yes I am getting married in August and don't know how well my hair will hold a curl, but I am wearing my hair some variation between half up, or down with pieces pinned up.

I want to be 'me' on my wedding day...

I think my hair up actually makes me face look thinner, but it could be because my hair is so fine it becomes a 'hair helmet' and sticks to my face.

I can't decide. I like it up with some pieces coming down. I thought it was flattering, but I guess not??? I can't imagine it looking fancy if I just have it like blown out. It is too short for curls and I don't think I have the face for curls.

I'm probably wearing mine half up. Someone suggested to me to wear it all down. They said they woudn't 'know' me since I always have my hair down even inthe worst heat. Maybe something like this pic, but my hair is so much longer.

Have you thought about doing a trial?

I think that up with loose pieces would look nice. But honestly, don't do what others think you should do, it's your wedding.

Gorgeous, you have nice thick hair so that will work for you. So jealous!

ultimately, you should do what wil llook best...so if you look best with your hair down and others feel you look best with your hair down, you should definitely wear it down..you want to look like your best self on that day!

how do you normally wear your hair? if you wear it down a lot, keep it down. My stylist said a lot of people feel they have to do an updo b/c it's their wedding but if your not used to your hair up then don't do it.

I personally don't like my hair up so it wasn't even an option.
