Hair Vent WITH PICS

Ok so tonight im going out and since i never really do anything with my hair i said you know what im gonna go get it done also since i have to mail the extensions back this weekend thought it'd be a good opportunity...Well i go to this salon that i know a couple of girls who go there and at one wedding we went to this one girl did her hair there and i loved how it came out and she said it was also only $25 so i go there today...Well i bring in my pics from the trial, i even said i dont want it real curly, i like the curls to be more towards the bottom. Throughout the process i said not too curly dong do it to the top, i cant see the back but i can tell it was a bit too curly...then they get to the front and i say please especially in the front DONT curl it to the top just the bottom, I even pulled out the pic from the trials again for the 2nd or 3rd time, they say yeah dont worry it wont be bc after we curl it were gonna loosen it up, so im like OH OK...I even noticed that they were taking small strands to curl and i said, can you take bigger pieces, they kept saying how it wont last if the pieces are too big, i said its ok bc i dont want it too curly...then they get to the top part and start curling and right away i say no bc the top needs to be teased up a little or else the extensions will show, he said yeah im just doing the base but the other guy is gonna do the top part and he'll do that(yes i had someone do half my head, then another person, then the first guy again) he take a blow dryer and on top starts straightening it a little so im thinking ok hes going to do what i asked him, again i take the picture out, which i hate doing bc i hate being a pain but sooooooooo many times ive kept my mouth shut and then regretted it later. Ok so then hes done, the top part is not teased at all and guess what, on the sides you can see the extensions, he goes to take a chunk and just put it over it, uhmmmm that works if i barely move my head, no wind blows and i dont dance. But at this point i realize im talking to myself...the best part is i go to pay, now the girl who had her hair done for a wedding the way i wanted it today, paid about $25-30...i got charged $65, i would not have done my hair if it was that much, especially not for any real occasion.

Honestly, every single time ive gone to places to do something like this, or do my hair in anyway besides cutting or cutting which i have somebody for, they always mess up and NEVER get it right...i dont care if it does look nice, its not what i want...I just thank god i found LIW that made me find claudia pedala bc that is the ONLY time it ever came out exactly how i wanted, even better, and she listened...At first i was like hmmmm its a bit expensive but everytime i saw her do curls for other girls it was EXACTLY what i wanted and now im like you know what im glad bc the money is worth not dealing with this aggrevation and having peace of mind. Honestly with the fact that i never have success with how ppl do my hair i wouldve probably spent more on going from trial to trial

Im sorry you didnt get what you wanted.

it can be very frustrating when you know what you are looking for and the person doing it for you just doesnt seem to be listening.

it does look very nice, but i understand and would be annoyed too if it isnt what you were looking for.

thank you...yeah its not that it looks like crap just im not into the REALLy curly done up hair, and on top of that the most important is that my extensions are showing alot so now i have to sit here and fix it myself so it wont show, i might have to put it half up in order to do so. I didnt pay money to come home and fix it

Well if it helps i think you look beautiful! but i totally get what you're saying!!!! I hate it cause it seems all stylists think they know whats best and they always take what you want and twist it into what they feel like doing or what they think would look better.. and unless you went in blind saying i have no idea what i want.. style me..then where do they get off!!!? It's your money.. and your hair.. they are paid to do a job and they should do it the way someone wants it done!!! Sorry you had such a crappy experience but u do look pretty.. lol

yeah it shouldn't be $65 for that...when i went to christie's & co who have been around for such a long time, for my e-pics they charged me $40 to curl my hair.

yeah they always do that, whether its curling it, some updo, or even if you ask for just a trim and then they cut like 6 inches off, yes this happened to me once lol, i went in with hair up to the bottom of my bra strap or right above it and the girl kept messing up until my hair was to the bottom of my neck ...ive had so many bad experiences with hair dressers...its like ok you think this is better but everyone has different taste and you cant make me do something that really isn't my style. I mean am i the only one who always runs into this problem...except for color and cut now for quite a few years the girl is great, i had tons of problems, especially before i found this girl who does my hair now, i went from one salon to another CONSTANTLY

i think it can be real hard, and i definitely have seen quite a few girls who weren't happy with their trials. But certain ppl are just better at doing certain type of hairstyles and then not that great with other styles...plus the fact that they dont listen doesn't help

yeah defiantly, I went to a wedding last summer and went to get my hair curled and I had really long hair and by the time the girl was done with my hair it looked like I had chin length hair, she kept telling me it would fall, but NEVER did even after all my dancing ... Its weird but I think updos are alot easier to do then just a simple curl, especially when they don't listen

oh god why would they do that...yeah they go too far and make it real tight so guess what it wont fall later lol. Yeah curls are harder to do, alot cant get it right
