hair/makeup question!!!!

does anyone know of hair/makeup people who are great, but don't have a 'minimum' number of people they require. i don't understand...what if you just want YOUR hair and makeup done...how come it seems like no one does this???

Check out KAcey and Rosemarie from Khoulouds (they are LIW vendor)...love them! See my hair and make-up trial in my album. They are real nice...lot of fun. You go to them for you trial and they come to you the day of no minimum needed.

I think that they require a minimum because they may not want to get hired to do just one person when they can later on get a call to do a party of 3 or 4. Personally, I think it's silly. Granted I'm not in that business but I would never pass up the opportunity for work in hopes of something better coming along!

I was once turned down by a hair person because I first told her to do my hair and then called back a few days later and said I didn't need someone for my hair but needed someone to do 4 bridesmaids instead at a diff. location. She turned it down and said flat out 'it isn't worth her while'. In the meantime, she would have made more money doing 4 BMs than just me! I never understood that.
