Hairstyle Choices!

Hairstyle Choices!

Hey everyone!
I just joined and my wedding date is March 24, 2007.
I have a dilemma on my hands...I love the look of having hair half-up and have found pics that i LOVE, but im not sure my hair will stay put...I have very straight hair and im not sure it will hold a curl...Im not in love with any up-do's. I live in Canada and it will most likely be fairly cold out that day.
Does anyone think I have a chance of a half-up do staying put???
Also I need gift ideas for my BM's. They are having jewellery made for them so that is not an option. Any other ideas out there???

When i first looked i thought #2, but after i looked again I really like #1! i think it frames your face really nicely and looks more like you even though i dont know you!

I know how you feel I have straight hair and was just fming a bride about the same problem. I know that if your hair is set with rollers and you are put under a hair dryer for 1 hour (or longer-really!) it will hold because then your hair will have the volume it needs. When I had my trial it was after a long day at work and I really didn't stay under the dryer long enough so the curl did fall and that's what I' m worried about for my wedding day. But if you ask your hair dresser to set your hair first in rollers (NOT just with a curling iron!! no good for us really straight haired girls) then work with a curling iron if necessary- add some hairspray and you should be ok really. remember you have to set it first ! this is key.

and you you're getting married so soon!!! I do like your hair up. if you like it half up see if your hair dresser can add a little umph like a soft curl?? what do you like better? half up or all up?

i think it will stay. i just had a hair trial, my hair is pin straight and it stayed for hours and hours. actually i was hoping the curls would relax and they never did! so i went a different route, b/c i didnt want it to curly. i think with enough product in your hair, it should be fine!
